Looking for a Job

Due to various reasons beyond the scope of this blog, I’ve had to quit my current job as a Programming Specialist at Position2. So, if you’re looking for a python / django hacker in Bangalore (although telecommuting certainly is an option I’d consider), drop me a line.

I’ve just bought a MacBook

I’ve just bought a new Macbook and am busy setting up my dev environment on it. Things aren’t really as hard as I though they’d be. With macports, OSX doesn’t really feel much different superficially from any linux distro.

A Moment of Epiphany

Once in a while, you realize that the path you’re taking in life, is not the right one. Fortunately for me, it mostly happens pretty soon after I start treading on the wrong path. I guess I’m a bit lucky as far as that aspect is concerned. Something like that just happend to me. The [...]

Update

Came back to my hometown from Bangalore about a week ago. Unfortunately for me, I contracted Chicken Pox in my last few days in Bangalore. I was under the belief that I’d had a bout of chicken pox as a kid and I’d never get it again. Then I call my Mom and ask her [...]

Nostalgia

Just found this on Nithin Kamath’s blog. An article and a photo essay in Times about Mangalore, my hometown. This stuff seriously makes me homesick. I’ve always thought of going back to Managalore and doing something. Guess its high time I do something about it.

Just a silly observation

Why on earth do braggarts always turn out to be incompetent? Its so damn obvious and yet they don’t seem to know about it. And trying to help them seems to be a futile exercise.

And Life goes on…

A whole lot of friends from Bangalore and Mangalore have been calling up and asking me what’ve I been doing since I came to Chennai. The whole story was like too long and tiring to explain on phone. So here’s a post on it. I’m having fun at work. After a long hiatus, I’m back [...]
